In the Spotlight Volunteer Spotlight: Serge
What a great stroke of luck for Hope’s Corner that Serge loves cooking for other people. Serge tells us “What can be more fun than cooking 400 meals? Adding spices to improve a basic nutritious meal adds spice to my life!”
When Serge is not volunteering at Hope’s Corner, he likes to fix things, and practice Tai Chi and other sports. Serge also enjoys meditation and spends as much time as possible in the beautiful California outdoors. Serge likes to cook even in his spare time when he is not volunteering at Hope’s Corner!
We are lucky to have Serge volunteering for Hope's Corner. We’d like to thank all our volunteers; without you, we wouldn’t be able to provide vital services or accomplish our mission.

In the Spotlight Volunteer Spotlight: Tom
Hope’s Corner is happy to introduce Tom as the Spotlight Volunteer this month. Out of the many opportunities Hope’s Corner offers, Tom has taken the opportunity to serve breakfast to those in need. Tom states he feels incredibly heart warmed and is rewarded by being a part of Hope’s Corner in this capacity.
Tom tells us that the guests are very polite, and he feels “really good” when he can see the big, bright smiles on their faces. Tom states the staff at Hope’s Corner is “awesome” and the volunteers are a pleasure to work with.
When Tom isn’t volunteering at Hope’s Corner, he tells us he enjoys reading and writing. Tom also enjoys software design as a hobby.
We are lucky to have such great volunteers here at Hope’s Corner. Tom is one of the many volunteers we are blessed to have. A huge thanks to all our volunteers! We look forward to sharing next weeks’ Spotlight Volunteer.
